LIVE
For her first solo creation, composer and cellist Cécile Lacharme takes us on an instrumental journey into the heart of imagination. With only her cello and pedalboard as travel companions, she leads us through diverse landscapes, inspired by both classical and contemporary influences.
Her music, composed of loops, layers, and swirls, summons a narrative and evocative power that speaks to the soul and the heart.
Immersive Show
Since 2022, Cécile has been working on the creation of an immersive show with Nantes-based sound engineer Bastien Raute. Thanks to a 360° sound system, the audience is enveloped by the sound of the cello and its sonic textures, allowing them to experience an exceptional auditory and musical journey.
This sound creation is enhanced by the lighting work of engineer Philippe Arbert.
ALBUM
After several years of preparation, Cécile Lacharme began recording her first solo album in July 2024 at the Saint-Nazaire Theatre. The album revolves around the musician’s neo-classical compositions and her sonic and experimental sound explorations.
Like a reflection of her concerts, this album is a true solo performance: the cello is the only instrument used throughout the recording. Sometimes minimalist, often orchestral, the instrument is explored in all its forms.
Special attention was given to sound design, textures, and sonic spaces, thanks to the work of Bastien Raute, the sound engineer who handled the recording, co-production, and mixing of the album.
The release is planned for end April 2026.
